Our Information Technology (IT) Content Localization service covers both basic and advanced document formats such as Word, PowerPoint, HTML, Flash, Silverlight, SCORM. These documents however would require some IT Expertise or subject matter knowledge/expertise balancing translation with localization and IT Lexicon. For IT Content Localization, we have localization capabilities in more than 10 languages including: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Indian (Urdu), Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, and Korean. All TidWiT IT Content localizations are done internally and by a network of certified localizers in each respective country, making them accurate and in line with accepted IT and local language norms. For this to occur we rely only on our team of localizers that have IT subject matter experience.
Depending on the type of IT content being localized, our engineering team may also get involved in the disassembly and reassembly of the content being localized. This applies to content such as Online courses, Online Assessments, Web pages with HTML or XML code, Flash files, Online demo's, Windows Media files, Webcast recordings, and other specialized publishing documents.
The Advanced Localization effort typically goes through the seamless process, which includes: Source document disassembly, translation, localization, subject matter review when necessary, DTP (Desktop Publishing or graphics editing), re-assembly and quality assurance. In certain cases, our service may also extend into content management and web publishing options to maintain updates and control of the localized versions.
